Dear Joshua and Luke,

Luke is moving over!

Cub Scouts has been a big part of your lives for the last two years.  One of the biggest events in Cub Scouts is the blue and gold ceremony.  We start the morning at mass together.  The Cub Scouts sat together with their leaders.  Then, we ate breakfast together - pancakes, sausage, eggs....yummy!  Then, onto the ceremony.  Joshua's den performed a small skit which was very funny.  The boys did a great job!  I am always so proud of hearing Joshua speak in front of others.  He has a loud, clear voice - very professional sounding!  (No bias here! :)   )








 Luke became a wolf this year and Joshua moved up to Weblos II.   I have to say that we really love our Cub Scout families. They are all awesome families!  We have been so lucky getting to know these families and spending many evenings and special events with them

The boys have each been busy playing basketball this year.  We are lucky to have two outstanding coaches that coach both boys teams.  Luke scored four points his last game and Joshua scored one.  It is interesting to see how they have each grown so much in their skills.  Both boys are very interested in the game and have become quite competitive.  The other great thing is that both boys practice on the same evening, and the games are on the same night most of the time.

Joshua had another opportunity to speak in front of others at the Young Author assembly. Joshua had a speaking part in the introduction of the teacher memories.  Joshua and his class sang a song about memories and assisted sigh giving out ribbons to all of the participants.  Once again, many adults commented on how nice Joshua sounded.  He was loud and clear and very articulate.  He gave a lot of feeling with all of the words that he spoke.
